We are pleased to announce the arrival of our Texas Rollback Trailers. These trailers are designed specifically for car/truck hauling and make the process of loading infinitely easier than traditional methods. Whether you’re a long-time veteran of hauling your car around or are just now shopping for a trailer, the benefits of a rollback trailer will quickly become apparent. With the exception of trucks, almost every car built today (especially sports cars and Corvettes) are so low to the ground that damage will occur when trying to load it on a trailer – the approach angle is too great and the front fascia will invariably make contact.
  Watch Trailer Demonstration
Texas Rollback Trailers use solid steel rollers, on three tracks, which are built into the chassis that supports the deck. This allows the deck to move separately from the chassis, giving the user an ease in loading or unloading which is unparalleled.

When the spring-loaded locking pins are released and the trailer brakes are engaged, the deck is free to roll backwards (as the tow vehicle is backed up) and down to the surface, giving the user a 5 degree deck angle to load or unload a vehicle or cargo. The trailer is remarkably versatile.

After loading or unloading, the user reverses the procedure by locking the trailer brakes and pulling the tow vehicle forward. This enables the deck to move forward until it touches the stops. When the lock pins are engaged, the trailer is ready for towing (see our video of this procedure).

Remember: NO RAMPS, NO HYDRAULICS, NO ELECTRIC WINCHES, OR DANGEROUS TILT BEDS! Our trailer is a true "roll-back".

In addition, our trailers solve the following “MacGyver tactics”:

  • Jacking up the rear of the tow vehicle to lower the approach angle of the trailer

  • Crawling out the window/trunk of your car because the doors won’t clear the fenders

  • Crawling back IN the window/trunk to unload the car

  • Adding ramps/wood blocks to the front of the car so it won’t scrape

  • Jacking up the trailer itself (while attached) to lower the approach angle

Other problems solved or possibly avoided might be:

  • Pins coming loose on traditional trailer ramps on the highway (yikes!)

  • Hydraulic leaks with other tilt-down mechanisms

  • Battery or Pump failure on hydraulic systems
  • …any of these mishaps will certainly ruin your day!
There are also a variety of different options that these trailers can be fitted with;
front air-dams, tool boxes, winches, lighting, and of course, tie down straps. Please call us for further information.
